The Vocational Training Institute of Glyfada (IEK Glyfadas) established in 1998 is supervised by the General Secretary for Lifelong Learning – Ministry of Education. It belongs to the post-secondary educational system and offers initial vocational training for everyone who has graduated from the upper secondary education. The Institute is housed in a modern building, built in 2000, and has 6 computer labs, 3 designer halls, nursing, nursery, physiotherapy, medical, physics and chemistry lab, interior architecture and decoration lab, aesthetics and makeup salon, 16 classrooms with a total capacity of 400 people, a multipurpose hall for 500 people, relaxing and sports facilities, indoor gym, access for disabled persons, parking and green spaces.
